RK&K Mechanical Inspector Job Description

RK&K is seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to oversee active construction sites and perform complex inspections to ensure compliance with contract documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • On-site supervision of contractor work crews to verify compliance with contract documents
  • Inspect and review designs for mechanical systems, including HVAC
  • Responsible for reading and interpreting contract documents
  • Direct supervision of contractor work crews to ensure good and safe construction practices
  • Responsible for reporting on-site activities and daily progress
  • Responsible for calculation and determination of pay quantities
  • Responsible for witnessing, understanding, and verifying on-site testing
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to operate basic Microsoft Office Applications, Laptop, and iPad
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Capable of working independently on small construction projects
  • Valid driver's license and favorable driving record
