Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing appointments, and ensuring a smooth flow of patients through the hospital.
Responsibilities- Client Communication: Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, and escort clients to the exam room.
- Check-Out Process: Assist clients with check-out, including processing payments, handling money, and setting future appointments.
- Phone Calls: Answer phone calls from clients, respond to their inquiries, and make outbound calls to remind clients of upcoming appointments.
- Administrative Tasks: Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, and veterinary terminology. Assist with cleanliness and maintenance of the hospital.
- Experience: 1 year of previous experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, and a positive personality.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Competitive Salary: $16-18/hour depending on experience.
