Job Summary:

The IT Sr Systems Engineer will provide leadership and direction with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of malfunctions with computer hardware and software. This role requires a strong working knowledge of server virtualization, load balancing, and clustering, as well as experience with Microsoft Servers and Active Directory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage staff to meet operational needs
  • Monitor and improve work performance of assigned teams
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Assist with capacity planning and performance management of critical servers and applications
  • Lead the planning and implementation of server upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches
  • Research new technology and recommend improvements to leadership
  • Partner with other architects, infrastructure, and software experts to define metadata layers and technical strategy
  • Provide first-class customer service and support to internal and external customers
Requirements:
  • 7 years of directly related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of server virtualization, load balancing, and clustering
  • Experience with Microsoft Servers and Active Directory
  • Excellent public speaking skills and ability to present to senior management
Working Conditions:

This role requires occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds and may require working after hours or on weekends as scheduled. A standard driver's license and passing of a gaming background check are also required.
