About the Role:

The Cleveland Clinic Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our team at the Taussig Cancer Institute. As a Radiation Oncologist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient-centered care to individuals with cancer, utilizing advanced radiation therapy techniques and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with cancer, incorporating radiation therapy and other modalities as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation oncology, including new technologies and treatment approaches.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Provide education and training to residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals on radiation oncology topics.

Requirements:

  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
  • Experience with Gamma Knife radiosurgery and prostate brachytherapy is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
