Faculty Physicist Position

University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center and Case Western Reserve University invite applications for a Faculty Physicist position in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of radiation therapy treatment plans
  • Collaborate with clinicians and researchers on clinical and research projects
  • Teach and mentor medical physics residents and students
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in physics, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, including residency
  • Effective organization, written, and oral communication skills
  • Experience with specialized treatment modalities, such as adaptive radiotherapy, HDR, or proton therapy, is desired but not required

The Department of Radiation Oncology at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center and Case Western Reserve University is a leading institution in the field of radiation oncology. Our team consists of 20 physicians, 20 physicists, 7 physician residents, 4 physics residents, 15 dosimetrists, and 40 therapists. We have a full range of radiation oncology services, including 3D-CRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, TBI, TSEI, HDR, and Proton Therapy.
