Nursing Assistant Faculty Opportunity

Olympic College is seeking a qualified part-time nursing faculty member to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant Faculty, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education to our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and teach courses in the Nursing Assistant program.
  • Provide clinical supervision and evaluation.
  • Maintain accurate records of students and completed forms as required.
  • Participate in Nursing Assistant program academic assessment processes.
  • Collaborate with peers and the Nursing Assistant Program Director.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited College or University.
  • Minimum of one year experience within the past three years in caring for the elderly or chronically ill of any age.
  • Current, unencumbered, RN license in WA state or ability to obtain WA RN licensure before employment.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • Experience with supervision of nursing assistants.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of a course in adult instruction.
  • Experience teaching adults over and above in-service education or patient teaching.
