Position Overview:
The role of a Registered Nurse encompasses the delivery of comprehensive patient care through a systematic approach involving assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse also plays a crucial role in prescribing, delegating, coordinating, supervising, and assessing patient education, alongside the activities of support nursing staff, all while upholding the standards of professional nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide both direct and indirect patient care, ensuring the highest quality of service.
2. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
3. Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
A. Educational Background:
Must be a graduate from a State Board accredited School of Nursing or possess an equivalent qualification.
B. Professional Experience:
A minimum of six (6) months of relevant experience is preferred.
C. Licensure and Certifications:
Must hold a current RN license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required within two (2) weeks of employment.
