Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our UroGyn clinic team at The University of Chicago Medicine. As a Clinic RN, you will play a vital role in coordinating diagnostic and therapeutic regimens for patients, maintaining cohesiveness between clinical research, physicians, and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient phone calls, respond to inquiries, and triage calls to physicians as needed
  • Assist physicians with patient examinations, diagnostic tests, and therapeutic procedures
  • Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications, medication regimens, and side effects
  • Communicate with clinic coordinators to schedule follow-up appointments and arrange patient admissions
  • Assist in coordinating research programs by screening patients for clinical research and outcome programs
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse, licensed in the state of Indiana
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a hospital progressive care or intensive care unit or equivalent experience
  • Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
