Bookkeeping Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced instructor to teach our non-credit bookkeeping program at Central Texas College. As a part-time instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons, assessing student progress, and providing support to ensure student success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, with a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their educational goals. This position involves facilitating effective classroom instruction, maintaining an effective learning atmosphere, and interacting effectively with the public, students, faculty, and college personnel.

Requirements include:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, with acceptable combinations of education and work experience
• An associate's degree in accounting or bookkeeping, or relevant certifications and three years of experience in the bookkeeping field
• One to three years of experience working in the subject area being taught

In exchange for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately $**25.00 per hour**, based on 19.5 hours worked per week. Other benefits may be available upon approval by your direct supervisor.
