Bookkeeping Instructor

Central Texas College

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced bookkeeping instructor to teach our non-credit bookkeeping program at Central Texas College. As an adjunct faculty member, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and passion for bookkeeping with students and help them achieve their educational goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, with at least an associate degree in accounting or bookkeeping, or relevant certifications and experience. Previous teaching experience is not required, but the ability to maintain an effective classroom learning atmosphere and facilitate engaging lessons is essential.

Job Responsibilities:

• Teach bookkeeping classes to students in a non-credit program
• Deliver engaging and informative lessons, assessing student progress and providing support as needed
• Maintain an effective classroom learning atmosphere and interact effectively with students and college personnel

Requirements:

• At least an associate degree in accounting or bookkeeping, or relevant certifications and experience
• One to three years of experience working in the bookkeeping field
• Ability to work under precise and exacting conditions and facilitate effective classroom instruction
