The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, extensive field experience, and flexibility to adapt to changing schedules. A top-tier field technician effectively handles all service requests, delivering high-quality repairs and service for projects of any scale. A successful candidate will be able to adjust to diverse work environments and resolve issues swiftly.
Key Responsibilities- Install and maintain network cabling, hardware, digital signage, point of sale systems, and wireless networks.
- Assist in the structural setup for digital signage and other equipment installations.
- Plan and execute cabling installations as needed, ensuring proper termination to devices.
- Develop custom solutions to address unexpected challenges.
- Act as the primary technical resource on-site from product staging through to post-installation support.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers effectively.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Audio Video Systems or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills and professional appearance.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
- Proficient in using technology such as smartphones, laptops, and MS Office applications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Must provide personal hand tools as per the provided list.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends.
- Comfortable working in noisy, dusty environments and at heights.
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled spaces.
Must be capable of sitting, kneeling, or standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects regularly, and performing repetitive tasks with minimal breaks.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant IT discipline.
- Experience with various manufacturers' products and protocols.
- Certification in Technology or Networking.
- Salary starting from $55,000, based on experience.
