Senior Pre Anesthesia Testing Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pre Anesthesia Testing Department at Lake Granbury Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities- Manage the patient intake process, ensuring thorough medical history collection and accurate assessments.
- Determine patient needs for pre-admission testing and coordinate necessary procedures.
- Collaborate with patients and healthcare providers to obtain medical clearance, as required.
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and document care, observations, and medical history.
- Assist in Perioperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing procedures, as needed.
- Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently certified as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
- Current BLS certification.
- Must obtain ACLS, PALS, and NIH stroke certification within 3 months of hire date.
