Database Developer Role

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team at Apex Systems. As a critical member of our Marine Corps product development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based data integrations, data pipelines, data warehousing solutions, and Business Intelligence (BI) services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and secure database solutions
  • Implement data pipelines and integrations with cloud-based services
  • Develop and maintain data warehouses and Business Intelligence (BI) services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision making

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Electrical/ Electronic/ Computer /Software Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science from an accredited College or University
  • Secret Level Clearance
  • 6 years of experience in DoD C4ISR systems, or information technologies
  • Strong DDL and DML SQL skills
  • Experience with OLAP and Data Warehouse development and operation (preferably Redshift)
  • Strong experience with database permissions, roles, and security
  • Experience with operating within Data Lake and Data Warehouse environments
  • Experience working within Cloud environments (preferably AWS)

Bonus Points:

  • Data Analytics experience, or the provisioning of data for Data Analytics
  • Dashboarding with tools such as Amazon Quicksight
