Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Developer to join our team at Ignite Digital Services. As a Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based data tracts to optimize data storage, retrieval, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cloud-based data tracts to optimize data storage, retrieval, and management.
  • Maintain containerization strategies using Docker, Kubernetes, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with NIWC Atlantic and Government sponsor teams to ensure the smooth integration and deployment of applications.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain automated continuous integration and delivery pipelines for the deployment of containerized applications.
  • Provide acceptance testing for system integration across multiple cloud domains.
  • Ensure security and compliance best practices are implemented across cloud environments at various impact levels.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, data tracts, and containerized applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in technology solutions development, including operations, engineering, networking, infrastructure, or database architecture.
  • 2+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on data management and containerization.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of data management practices and technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., BitBucket, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with Government Risk Management Framework processes.
  • Familiarity with Government Impact Levels - IL2 - IL7.

Travel:

This role features an opportunity to travel up to 25% of the time to both domestic and international locations such as Italy, Germany, Bahrain, Florida, California, etc. Travel will be communicated well in advance and will not normally exceed one work week at a time.

Salary:

$115k + to align with education and experience.
