Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Information Systems Security Officer to join our team at Leidos. This role will provide technical expertise in information assurance and security to support our customer's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide aid to the program's information assurance program
  • Lend assistance for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
  • Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program
  • Assist with the management of security aspects of the information system and perform day-to-day security operations of the system
  • Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information
  • Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation
  • Provide configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware
  • Manage changes to system and assess the security impact of those changes
  • Prepare and review documentation to include System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs)
  • Assist security authorization activities in compliance with Information System Certification and Accreditation Process (NISCAP) and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Requirements
  • Fourteen (14) years' experience as a Systems Engineer (to include Information Security) supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Linux and windows to support with system administration, troubleshooting, loading software, configuration of RF system network and software packages
  • Must possess knowledge of RF and collection systems and how they work as well as understand data flow
  • Experience in networking
  • Experience in system administration
  • Experience in FORNSAT
  • Experience in Tactical SIGINT
Security Clearance

Must possess active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance to be considered for this role.
