Managed Services Technician

We are seeking a skilled Managed Services Technician to join our team at Managed Solution LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring new desktops/laptops, adding accounts, and managing inventory for managed services clients.
As a Managed Services Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our clients' IT assets and inventory management processes. Your expertise in Office365 administration, troubleshooting, and virtualization technologies will be invaluable in helping us deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Main Responsibilities:- Configure new desktops/laptops in accordance with client requirements and Managed Solution protocols/documentation.
- Manage client IT assets and inventory to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Effectively manage asset life cycles and maintenance schedules to improve quality control of assets.
- Coordinate with procurement department to receive inventory and document serial numbers, warranty information, and packing slips, etc., in accordance with company policy.
- Configure new accounts within client and Managed Solution tenants - Office365, Active Directory, etc.
- Participate in audits of company assets as directed.
- Provide end users with technical support for client applications as needed.
- Communicate technical information clearly and effectively over the phone, in person, and in writing to English-speaking clients.
- Document client communication and activities via internal ticketing system in accordance with Company standards.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, as well as 1+ years of troubleshooting experience (networking, server/OS, desktop, virtualization).
- Demonstrated ability to provide outgoing, enthusiastic customer service with a drive to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external team members.
- Demonstrated history of taking ownership/accountability of assigned tasks.
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills; experience prioritizing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrated integrity and the ability to maintain client confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Office365 administration and troubleshooting required. Additional knowledge of public/private cloud (e.g., Azure) and virtualization technologies a plus.
- Experience using Microsoft SCCM or Intune to deploy images required.
- Microsoft or other technical certifications highly desired and may be required for employment.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in a Windows environment, including desktop and server OS.
- Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN administration and concepts including DHCP, DNS, VLAN's, firewalls, NAT, wireless technology, and the ability to configure switches a plus.
- Proficient knowledge of Cybersecurity, Network Monitoring, and Endpoint Management tools: Perch, LogicMonitor, SentinelOne, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
- Previous experience working within ticketing systems preferred (ideally Connectwise).
- Previous experience working in Managed Services Operations Center.
- Apple/Macintosh/iPhone/iPad experience a plus.
- PTO – earn up to 10 days in year 1; 15 days in year 2; and 20 days in years 3+
- 40 hours of Sick Time per calendar year
