Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in the mining sector, with exposure to various roles, including operations, technical, project management, due diligence, and studies.

Familiarity with exploration opportunities and the assessment of mining assets.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Proficiency in project management and cross-functional collaboration with other departments.

Leading scoping studies for technical assessments and identifying key risks and opportunities.

Evaluating technical fundamentals to identify risk areas and their potential effects on financial valuations.
Assessing unique technical risks associated with potential partners and exploring synergies within the organization's portfolio.
Collaborating with legal, commercial, and financial teams to integrate technical insights into commercial frameworks and propositions.
Preparing detailed reports and presentations on technical risks and their implications for project valuation.
Assisting in the development of investment strategies based on technical insights.
Staying updated on emerging trends and best practices in project valuation, including incorporating environmental, social, and governance value drivers into standard financial modeling to promote innovation.
