About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Analyst to join our team at Holland & Knight. As a key member of our data management team, you will play a critical role in supporting the governance, quality control, and documentation of our data platforms, applied data sciences, and AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the firm's data platform projects, including direct support to the Data Solutions Engineering team in the capture and documentation of firm requirements, data quality priorities, and coordination on governance efforts.
  • Close coordination with firm information governance, privacy, and compliance roles and procedures.
  • Key development work on the firm's master data models, data catalogs, data schema, and data flows, and related artifacts to facilitate the firm's implementation of data platforms and data automation and sciences projects.
  • Foster a culture of excellence in data transformations and clear schema design, ensuring alignment with operational and analytical business requirements.
  • Advocacy and clear communication of the value and opportunities of the firm's data estate.
Requirements
  • Intermediate skills in data analysis - developing macros, scripts, queries.
  • Excellent experience in people management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, teamwork, customer service, and critical thinking skills required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or related coursework strongly preferred.
