Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Asset Management Specialist III to enhance our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing site-specific property management as vendors deliver to new locations, tracking equipment on-site, accepting completed sites, conducting inventories, and updating the asset management tracking system.
- Planning and executing annual inventory audits, while also providing deployment and maintenance services for mission-critical systems, including deployment strategy, technical support, and coordinating field activities.
- Administering the property program, which encompasses acquisition, receiving, transferring, excessing, reutilization, repair, disposal, and retirement of various property types. Monitoring equipment status, assessing maintenance needs, and recommending maintenance priorities while supervising a diverse team providing mission support services.
- Generating Inventory Status Reports for leadership and other necessary reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, or a related discipline, along with 9 years of relevant experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal acquisition logistics practices and standards.
- Possession of an active Secret Clearance.
- Master's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, and/or SharePoint.
- DAWIA Level II or III Logistics Certification (or equivalent training and experience).
- Experience with Integrated Logistics Support System (ILSS IBM MAXIMO) and System Application and Product (SAP).
- Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
- Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment.
- Frequent communication with colleagues, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information.
