Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Joint Venture and strategic capital projects in North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project scope, schedule, and budget, as well as ensuring high-quality work on projects exceeding $100 million in value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scope and plan delivery according to roles and responsibility matrix
  • Execute projects, including costing and implementation, following Front End Loading (FEL) guidelines
  • Assure monthly project reporting to stakeholders through FEL, execution, commissioning, and capitalization and closure
  • Manage scope change and risk escalation processes
  • Comply with local legislation and ADM requirements for permitting, safety, quality assurance, HACCP, GMP, Hazop, and TPS policy
  • Support and drive contractor safety through preventative action plans and safety metrics
  • Maintain safety and reliability of existing equipment during project implementation
  • Coordinate team development of necessary documentation for commissioning, training, maintenance, and record-keeping
  • Coordinate and provide direction to contractual partners for project execution, using a well-maintained work breakdown structure
  • Establish project structure and coordination with project steering committee according to project governance guidelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master degree in a technical field, preferably in combination with project management engineering
  • Knowledge of cost engineering and key performance indicators
  • Knowledge of industrial process project planning and scheduling with multi-craft trades, 'S' Curves
  • Knowledge of industrial process project commissioning means and methods
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Project, Primavera, or other resource-loaded scheduling tools
  • Knowledge of enterprise management systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Certified Project Manager or willingness to obtain certification
  • Minimum 15 years managing several industrial projects of high to extreme complexity
  • Experience with execution on revamp, brown, and green field projects
  • Knowledge of SharePoint beneficial
