Job Overview

Coca-Cola Consolidated is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Merchandising Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our retail customers, executing commercial plans, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute commercial plans to customers on daily, pre-set routes, ensuring timely and accurate execution of sales and merchandising activities.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to build strong relationships with customers, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Stock, merchandise, and rotate all beverage sections and displays in stores, ensuring a visually appealing and well-stocked environment.
  • Responsible for all ordering aspects of the position, including managing inventory levels, minimizing shrink, and organizing back rooms.
  • Build and maintain displays sold locally or through other agreements, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Communicate and provide direction to merchandisers and specialists supporting your territory on your days off.
  • Route will service Clemson (SC) and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
  • Valid in-state driver's license and excellent driving history.
  • Proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage of liability and property damage.
  • High School Education / GED.
  • Secondary education beyond high school preferred.
  • Critical thinking skills and high initiative.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Work Environment:

The work environment will vary, including but not limited to exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas which may be non-temperature controlled.
