About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Population Health Clinical Assistant to join our team at Norton Sound Health Corp. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing patient-focused care in accordance with our organization's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough intake processes, including obtaining vital signs and verifying allergies and medications.
  • Obtain laboratory results for review by physicians, complete lab requisition forms, and enter labs as ordered.
  • Perform various injections and phlebotomy services as required.
  • Assist with minor surgery and provide wound care services.
  • Ensure patient follow-up care and scheduling of appointments.
  • Prepare and stock examination rooms, and administer oxygen therapy as ordered.

Requirements:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
