Inventory and Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary

The Inventory and Logistics Support Specialist will provide critical assistance with material procurement, facilities coordination, and logistics. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed storage inventory records, including government property per applicable requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement: Facilitate procurement of materials and supplies for personnel in the assigned subsection(s) and coordinate with applicable sourcing assets. Provide status of in progress procurements when required.
  • Shipping: Create shipping documents, track hardware in the shipping process, and transport expedited materials to and from local shipping facilities.
  • Receiving: Watch for skids delivered, contact item owners upon receipt of equipment, coordinate trucker moves, and contact engineers on receipt.
  • Inventory: Establish/maintain inventory systems used in each sub-section for parts identification/location/tracking, work RFID implementation in each area as applicable, and maintain detailed records/systems for compliance.
  • Facilities Management: Submit work orders for needed facility repairs, upgrades, and maintenance, and track the status of work orders in process.
Requirements

This position is Monday through Friday on site, typically during 1st Shift 7am to 3:30pm. The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
