The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of the interprofessional team, this nurse will work collaboratively to deliver therapeutic patient-centered care, systematically collecting and assessing data to develop and execute individualized plans of care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including performing ACLS, independent rhythm interpretation, and administration of advanced lifesaving medications.
- Conduct independent, templated visits for patient assessment, taking action based on established protocols and clinical practice standards.
- Assist with complex procedures, including advanced wound therapy, central line management, and device interrogation.
- Work collaboratively with the interprofessional team to coordinate patient care, including patient education, telephone triage, and eVisits.
- May float to other areas as needed to support operational needs.
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent within 90 days of hire.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of hire.
