Job Summary:

The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services is a key member of the interprofessional team, providing therapeutic patient and family centered care. This role requires the ability to systematically and continuously collect and assess data related to patient health status, developing, executing, and evaluating the plan of care. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform/direct ACLS
  • Independent rhythm interpretation and defibrillation
  • Administration of advanced lifesaving medications
  • Independent, templated (RN-only) visits for patient assessment, with action taken based on established protocols and/or clinical practice standards using clinical judgement to determine intervention timing/specifics.
  • Sedation
  • Telemetry monitoring & interpretation/management of rhythm changes
  • Assisting with complex procedures
  • Advanced wound therapy (VACs, debridement, etc.)
  • Central line management (TPA administration) and maintenance (dressing / cap changes, access / flushing)
  • Device interrogation and interpretation with resultant action
  • Complex infusions (concurrent infusions, hazardous medication administration, blood and blood products, etc.)
Requirements:
  • Clinical experience and/or interest in the care and management of patient populations specific to the area of employment
  • At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience, preferred
  • Nursing licensure required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
