About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at Dig. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant, ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate your team of chefs and cooks to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation.
  • Oversee the quality of fresh ingredients, inventory management, and ordering processes to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Run successful shifts by organizing the deployment board, managing prep schedules, and executing line checks to ensure smooth service.
  • Manage and maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Chef Operator to manage labor and food costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
  • Build and develop your team by providing training, coaching, and feedback to ensure their growth and success.
  • Actively promote Dig's anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • 1-2+ years of experience managing a restaurant team.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop your team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Food Safety Certification and a strong understanding of kitchen operations and safety protocols.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional food quality and service, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000-75,000/year, with annual increases and quarterly bonuses. Our total compensation package includes healthcare benefits, commuter benefits, and opportunities for continued growth and development.

We are committed to paying competitively relative to our organization size and industry, reflecting just one part of the total compensation package. Individual compensation decisions are determined by factors that include skills-based qualifications, prior work experience, and balancing internal equity relative to other Dig employees.
