Key Responsibilities- Perform daily inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the building's exterior and interior are in good condition.
- Assist with semiskilled tasks related to maintenance, repair, and construction tasks in the upkeep of the building.
- Install, maintain, and repair basic building maintenance trades, including carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and locksmith work.
- Inspect properties and communicate with management regarding proper grounds keeping and general cleanup and maintenance.
- Prepare and paint walls and woodwork, and perform other types of refinish.
- Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules and MSDS sheets.
- Perform weekly safety checks to ensure a safe and clean environment for patrons and employees.
- One year of experience as a semi-skilled worker in one or more of the basic building maintenance trades.
- Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including off-shift hours and weekend assignments.
- Must be able to operate a forklift, light truck, and other related motorized equipment.
This position involves frequent periods of standing and walking, including climbing ladders and staircases. You must be able to lift and stack objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently exert 10 to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects.
This is a physically demanding role that requires you to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to extreme weather conditions.
