Job Summary:

St. Mary's General Hospital is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality imaging services. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Radiologist in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring accurate and timely processing and transmission of images to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Radiologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Process and transmit images to PACS in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in the maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:
  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B.
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) required.
  • Proficient computer skills.
