Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team at Prime Healthcare, providing quality imaging services. The technologist works in support of the Radiologist, assisting in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Key responsibilities include processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with radiologists to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Process and transmit images to PACS
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

Qualifications

• Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required
• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred
• At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT
• Current BCLS (AHA) required
• Proficient computer skills
