Banquet Server

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Server to join our team at AEG. As a Banquet Server, you will provide exceptional hospitality to our guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Read and understand Banquet Event Orders to ensure seamless service.
• Carry and transport food and beverage items with ease, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests, adhering to DLTCC standards of service.
• Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests, anticipating and meeting their needs.
• Setup and maintain food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building, ensuring a tidy and organized environment.
• Maintain inventory and ensure accurate tracking of food and beverage items.
• Participate in setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
• Work independently during slower times, utilizing your skills and expertise to drive results.
• Perform safe work by contributing to a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Develop strong relationships with staff and patrons, fostering a positive and professional atmosphere.
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to go above and beyond.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of your work, maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.
• Multitask with ease, handling multiple responsibilities and priorities with poise and confidence.
• Handle and move objects with care, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.

• Communicate effectively with oral and written skills, utilizing the English language to convey ideas and information.
• Apply basic arithmetic skills to accurately manage inventory, track orders, and perform other tasks as needed.
• Stand for extended periods, bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching out with the body, arms, and/or legs as required.
• Lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 30 lbs. and 15 lbs. often, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
• Be punctual and maintain consistent attendance, demonstrating a commitment to your role and the team.
• Respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers, members of the business community, and/or regulatory agencies, providing exceptional service and support.

• High School diploma or equivalent GED is strongly preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants is preferred.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age to serve alcoholic drinks.
