About the Role

As an Aerial Telecom Lineman with MasTec Communications Group, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our customers' communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overhead Construction and Repair: Support the installation, relocation, and maintenance of aerial plants, including RF and fiber services.
  • Schematic Understanding: Read and comprehend schematics and construction prints to ensure accurate and efficient work.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve problems as they arise in the field, utilizing your technical expertise and hands-on approach.
Requirements
  • Safety Focus: Prioritize safety in your daily work, adhering to company protocols and best practices.
  • Quality Work: Demonstrate a track record of completing work with a high level of quality, meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Problem-Solving: Showcase your ability to figure out complex problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work.
  • Long-Term Projects: Be interested in working on long-term projects that require dedication and attention to detail.
  • Team Player: Enjoy working collaboratively with your team, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals.
  • Lineman Experience: Possess extensive knowledge of all equipment needed for aerial work, with experience as a Lineman.
  • Comfort with Heights: Be comfortable working in a bucket truck and climbing poles, adhering to safety guidelines.
