Overview:
The Production Assembler plays a crucial role in the precise construction and assembly of products, ensuring adherence to established timelines and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize blades to open stock cases and properly dispose of over-wrap materials.
- Conduct quality inspections of products, sorting damaged items into designated bins while stacking acceptable products on available tables.
- Assemble components and prepare cardboard packing boxes, filling completed displays with inspected products as directed by the Lead.
- Operate machinery as needed, including shrink wrap, banding, clamshell, and glue machines.
- Seal and label finished goods cases using tape machines and date coders.
- Complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all business and personnel matters.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED with 0-2 years of relevant experience. Previous assembly and warehousing experience is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with being a collaborative team player.
Physical and Cognitive Requirements:
- Ability to adhere to policies and procedures.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and interpreting information.
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Manual dexterity to handle and manipulate items.
- Capability to sit, walk, or stand for up to 10 hours daily.
- Ability to perform physical activities such as crawling, squatting, climbing, twisting, bending, stooping, pushing, or pulling.
- Visual acuity for close distance, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Capacity to lift and carry items weighing less than 50 pounds.

FedEx Supply Chain offers competitive hourly rates based on location and experience.
Pay Range: $11.58 (Min) - $16.78 (Mid) - $21.97 (Max) Hourly
