Job Overview

Underground Solutions is seeking a skilled Telecom Burial Technician to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. As a member of our crew, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining underground telecom utility systems. Your expertise in underground utility location, fiber optic technology, and industry regulations will be essential in burying drop equipment and identifying existing underground cables while maintaining quality assurance standards.

  • Experience with coax, copper, fiber, and various conduit sizes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in machinery such as vibratory plows, directional drills, vacs, and mini excavators is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights as required.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk for periods of time.
  • Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, carry objects up to 50 pounds.
