About the Role

Genesis10 is seeking a seasoned Product Manager - Sr. to join our team in Richmond, VA. This is a 6+ month contract position with our client in the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify client unmet needs and inform product strategy and roadmap.
  • Manage and reimagine a suite of Operational Risk Management products to support risk oversight programs, risk advisory & challenge functions, and oversight.
  • Lead an integrated cross-functional team of engineers, data analysts, and business SMEs to design and build innovative solutions.
  • Be a thought leader in leveraging Machine Learning and AI to drive proactive, real-time risk management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
  • 3+ years of product management experience or at least 3 years of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.
Desired Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile product management.
  • 1+ year managing a data product.
  • Passionate about Risk Management and enabling proactive, data-driven risk management.
  • Intellectually curious.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a hunger to learn and seek new challenges.
  • Data-driven and love investigating data and learning how data is used to drive business value.
  • Passionate about helping the business re-imagine how they use data and leverage technology to unlock insights.
  • Team leader and enjoy working with diverse people and driving the team toward a common goal.
  • Customer-focused and care about growing others and bringing them together around what's possible.
  • Enjoy working directly with internal customers to understand their needs and build products they love.
  • Communicator and influencer and can communicate complex ideas clearly regardless of the audience.
