Job Title: Branch Relationship Officer

Heritage Bank is seeking a highly skilled Branch Relationship Officer to join our team at our Bellevue Commercial Banking Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the profitability, production goal achievement, and customer service and operational excellence of assigned branches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute sales and business development activities to achieve established production goals for deposits, fee income, loan production, and other goals.
  • Proactively partner with the commercial team to support both new and existing deposit relationships.
  • Manage employee development and engagement through coaching and performance management.
  • Support and participate in community involvement efforts and events.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher in Business, Accounting, and/or Finance preferred.
  • 4+ years' recent experience in branch banking operations, sales and service, effectively managing a deposit and customer base, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory/management role.
  • Thorough working knowledge of consumer lending and all consumer and commercial deposit products and services required.
  • Thorough working knowledge of small business lending and Treasury Management products and services preferred.
Working Environment:

Climate-controlled office environment. Work involves being able to concentrate on the matter at hand, under sometimes distracting work conditions and frequent interruptions during the day.

Physical Demands:

Work may involve the constant use of computer screens, reading of reports, and sitting throughout the day. Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner, and facsimile, which often requires dexterity of hands and fingers with repetitive wrist and hand motion.

Travel Time:

May travel for business development and customer meetings; willingness to travel to other branch locations when needed; valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and access to reliable transportation; or the ability to access and utilize an alternative method of transportation, when needed, to carry out job-related essential functions.
