Job Summary

The Staff Pad is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at a hospital in Helena, Montana. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients, enhancing their mobility, reducing pain, and improving their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including evaluations of range of motion, strength, balance, and functional status.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Implement a variety of physical therapy techniques and modalities to improve patients' mobility, relieve pain, and enhance functional independence.
  • Provide patient education on exercises, activities, and strategies to improve outcomes and prevent injury or re-injury.
  • Regularly reassess patients' progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and communicate with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols, safety regulations, and ethical standards of practice to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
  • Stay updated on advances in physical therapy practice, participate in continuing education activities, and pursue professional certifications or credentials as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy or graduate of an accredited college or university with a certificate in Physical Therapy.
  • Current State Physical Therapy Licensure.
  • Current BLS (CPR) certification.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
