We are seeking an ECE Assistant to join our team at the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. As an ECE Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting early childhood teachers in the education and care of pre-school aged children. This is a non-exempt position that requires completion of a GED/High School diploma within 6 months of hire and a CDA or equivalent in early childhood education within two (2) years of hire.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $20.00 per hour, which is competitive with other similar positions in the area. We offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth and development.

In addition to your teaching experience, you will need to possess basic knowledge of early child development and instruction methods for preschool-aged children. You should also have good human relation skills and be able to work productively and cooperatively with teachers, students, and parents.

This position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances and you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver's license and be eligible for the Tribes' Vehicle Insurance. If required, you will be responsible for assisting children on and off of a bus safely.
