About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Saint Joseph Health System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and education in a fast-paced ambulatory care setting.
  • Assess patient symptoms, reactions, and physical condition, and record data in the medical record.
  • Document vital signs and other measures as indicated by the patient's condition or diagnosis.
  • Schedule tests, admissions, and other procedures as ordered by the physician or healthcare provider.
  • Provide instructions and educational training on special tests, procedures, or health and lifestyle modifications.
  • Assist with procedures and examinations, and perform office laboratory procedures as needed.
  • Handle prescription refills and assist with immunizations, lab draws, and other duties as necessary.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN, diploma, BSN).
  • RN Indiana license or licensed in another state with requested endorsement in Indiana.
  • CPR certification required; ACLS and NRP certification preferred.
  • A minimum of six months current experience in the ambulatory care setting preferred.
