Job Title: Process Engineer - CB

At Diamond Ridge Construction, we are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Naperville, IL. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for providing consulting services, advice, and assistance to client firms on process and equipment involving process systems and unit operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop P&ID drawings and process design for major and minor detailed engineering projects.
  • Create mass and energy balances for projects and studies.
  • Lead or assist in analyzing and defining project scope, estimated cost, and technical aspects of a project in accordance with the client and our specifications.
  • Perform field surveys in preparation for design.
  • Prepare drawings, purchase specifications, schedules, operation manuals, and related construction details for projects.
  • Support field installation, checkout, and start-up of mechanical equipment and piping systems.
  • Display ability to troubleshoot process-related issues during startups or mill visits.
  • Participate and lead client and project team meetings as required.
  • Assist the Project Engineer in performing administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Must possess and display in-depth knowledge and experience in process-related industries as it pertains to the operation and design of the facilities.
  • Experience and knowledge should allow for independent decision-making concerning process design and project development.
  • Must possess a college degree in Chemical Engineering.
