About the Role

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team in the Aftermarket Data Management department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing, preventing obsolescence, and designing solutions for aftermarket customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply rail knowledge to manage and prevent obsolescence through supplier agreements and partnerships.
  • Design and reverse-engineer solutions for aftermarket customers.
  • Manage and maintain data systems, including GSI, SAP, 360, Power BI, IPC, and manuals.
  • Develop and maintain reporting, presentation, and planning skills for internal and customer-facing purposes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Finance, to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and standards, including IPC, maintenance manuals, and obsolescence management tools.
Requirements
  • University or technical college degree in Railway Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of industry-related experience in data analysis and management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, including GSI, SAP, 360, Power BI, and IPC.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Alstom's Design for Quality processes and safety management systems.
