Key Responsibilities:- Communicate effectively with project team members, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Read and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify potential issues and ensure compliance.
- Conduct thorough inspections of underground utilities, road, and bridge items, and report discrepancies to the Project Engineer.
- Implement QA/QC practices and procedures to ensure high-quality work.
- Verify that installed materials meet specifications and testing requirements.
- Prepare and review Daily Inspector's Reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Associate's Degree in Civil Technology or related field.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction/inspection, with a focus on bridge/roadway construction inspection.
- Experience working on Michigan construction projects.
- MDOT certifications preferred.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Fieldbook, and Microsoft Office.
