Job Overview

The position is scheduled from Sunday to Thursday, with hours starting at 10:00 pm and continuing until finished.

Key Responsibilities

Our Logistics Order Selection Experts are responsible for:

  1. Welcome new associates to the warehouse and continuously develop their skills.
  2. Monitor metrics to verify trainees are achieving predetermined goals.
  3. Coach conversations for metrics not at goal and ensure weekly and daily deliverables are met.
  4. Identify, develop, implement, and monitor training needs in the organization.
Primary Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities of our Logistics Order Selection Experts include:

  1. Tracks and maintains trainee KPIs.
  2. Assists in developing an associate's understanding of KPIs and why they are important/what their work impacts.
  3. Trains new associates on how to perform daily required duties.
  4. Trains new associates on Double Fork Pallet Jacks.
  5. Creates an amicable environment through a friendly demeanor.
  6. Responsible for releasing all associates to direct supervisor only after training complete and base requirements met.
  7. Ensures training milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved training budget.
  8. Monitors new/current associates - selecting, not maintaining required production pace, service level, quality.
  9. Conducts audits on associate's work and coaches them through any errors discovered.
  10. Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions (classroom/training room).
  11. Reviews existing training programs, suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet changing needs of associate, the organization, or the industry.
  12. Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
Requirements

To be successful as a Logistics Order Selection Expert, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • The ability to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
  • The ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
  • The ability to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift.
  • The ability to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer, and dry.
  • The ability to get certified in forklift operation and electrical-pallet jack.
  • The willingness to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
