The Clinical Education Coordinator plays a pivotal role in nurturing the skills of caregiving personnel in the execution of the care delivery model and the provision of nursing services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitates onboarding, training sessions, CPR certification, and ongoing educational initiatives to align with organizational objectives.
  • Ensures adherence to training policies and protocols.
  • Acts as a professional exemplar and mentor.
  • Completes and submits educational program documentation while maintaining accurate unit records.
  • Assists with designated educational projects.
  • Contributes to the evolution of the healthcare delivery framework by promoting innovative practices and educational advancements.
  • Engages in Quality Improvement initiatives.
  • Supports efforts that enhance the health and well-being of the served community.

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs. The ability to frequently lift or carry items weighing up to 25 pounds is often more critical than the capacity to lift heavier weights. Standing and/or walking for at least 6 hours during an 8-hour workday is necessary. Most medium-duty roles in the national workforce are not primarily performed in a seated position. Frequent stooping and crouching are required, along with regular handling and grasping tasks. Fine manipulation is occasionally necessary.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

A current RN license in the relevant state is mandatory. A Bachelor's degree is required, while a Master's degree is preferred. BLS Instructor certification is also preferred.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 3 years of active clinical nursing experience is required. BLS Instructor certification must be obtained within one year of employment.
