Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager of Technology Governance to join our Clearing Markets Treasury Engineering team in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL. As a key member of our Risk & Compliance Team, you will lead a global team of Risk professionals and oversee staff managers and supervisors responsible for creating governance, policies, procedures, methodologies, and tools for establishing and maintaining a strong risk culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of information technology, risk and control frameworks, risk and control theory, and practice to determine potential risks to the organization.
  • Manage analysis and draw conclusions to recommend and direct any resulting change needed to mitigate risk.
  • Oversee strategy and development of the risk framework, identifying, analyzing, monitoring, reporting, and minimizing information technology risks.
  • Review TRC-related reports produced by the management team for accuracy and legibility.
  • Determine what information, metrics, and associated reporting is appropriate for presentation to senior management.
  • Develop and present risk intelligence plans, strategy, and inputs into centralized processes for senior management consumption.
  • Develop the plan for the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework and High-Level Assessment (HLA) processes for the CIO.
  • Accountable for the development, strategy, and facilitation for assessment, audits, regulatory interaction, and preparation for Key Risk Review meetings.
  • Responsible for recruiting, directing, motivating, and developing staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively with colleagues as a team.
  • Responsible to ensure risk awareness culture by facilitating risk training and awareness activities such as self-identifying control issues.
  • Is known as an expert within the industry and regularly influences the regulatory landscape.
  • Approves projects to revise policies and plans, as needed.
  • Leads preparation and serves as the main point of contact for interactions with regulatory bodies.
  • Communication skills must range from participation in detailed technical discussions to business-oriented presentations to working closely with senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • 15+ years of total work experience, with 5-7 years of management experience, preferred.
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • CISA, CISSP, or CRISC and ISACA certifications preferred.
  • Experience defining, implementing, and monitoring IT risk management programs, including cybersecurity-related risks.
  • Experience understanding design and operating effectiveness of IT controls and industry-related frameworks.
  • Prior hands-on experience within the Risk Control space working with AI/ML framework highly preferred.

Salary Range

$150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
