Position Summary: As a Procurement Manager at Arcadis, you will oversee the procurement activities on projects, collaborating with project managers, department managers, clients, and procurement specialists to ensure ethical and efficient procurement practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Negotiation: Proficient in negotiating contracts and agreements
  • Contract Law: Good knowledge of contract law and regulations
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Procore and ERP systems (Deltek preferred)
  • Management: Excellent management and organization skills
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well with other managers and teams
  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in MS Office and ability to quickly learn new operating systems

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage projects from a procurement perspective, handling multiple issues simultaneously
  • Analysis: Strong analytical skills and math aptitude
  • Problem Solving: Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Vendor Management: Vendor resourcefulness and ability to maintain positive relationships
  • Commercial Analysis: Review proposals from a commercial aspect, complete commercial bid analysis, and issue purchase orders and subcontracts

Reasoning Ability: Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, interpret technical instructions, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Software Skills: Deltek, Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, ConstructSecure
