Procurement Manager Job Description

At Arcadis, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Construction Management department, you will be responsible for managing the procurement day-to-day activities on our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve best-in-class pricing and schedule for our projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, department managers, client personnel, and procurement specialists to ensure ethical and efficient procurement practices.
  • Manage and maintain vendor and subcontractor databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Review and analyze commercial proposals, conduct bid analysis, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Issue purchase orders and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, with 10+ years of experience in the construction/engineering industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Deltek, Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
