We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Recovery Fidelity Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective training and application of evidence-based practices within our organization, emphasizing adherence to program models and best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in mental health and/or substance use services, experience in fidelity monitoring, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care for individuals facing mental health and/or substance use challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES...

  • Collaborate with program managers, supervisors, and frontline staff to evaluate fidelity to evidence-based practices and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Deliver training and continuous support to staff members to improve their understanding of program models, interventions, and best practices.
  • Conduct fidelity assessments and observations to oversee adherence to program protocols and identify areas for improvement.
  • Devise and implement strategies to tackle fidelity challenges and promote adherence to program models.
  • Provide coaching and constructive feedback to staff members to enhance their skills in delivering evidence-based interventions.
  • Work alongside program leadership to create and execute fidelity monitoring tools, data collection methods, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain precise records of fidelity assessments, coaching sessions, and program outcomes.
  • Stay updated on emerging research, trends, and advancements in evidence-based practices and fidelity monitoring.
  • Engage in meetings, training sessions, and conferences to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Uphold the mission, values, and ethical standards of Newport Mental Health in all professional interactions and activities.

QUALIFICATIONS...

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Preferred licensure or certification as a mental health professional (e.g., LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a mental health environment, with a solid understanding of evidence-based practices and fidelity monitoring.
  • Experience in providing coaching, training, and support to staff members is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions and treatment modalities for individuals with mental health and/or substance use needs.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, equity, and inclusion in all professional endeavors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in line with professional codes of conduct.
  • Demonstrated competencies and experience with evidence-based practices for serious emotional disorders, as well as for adults with serious mental illness, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
