Job Opportunity

Newport Mental Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team. As a Co-Occurring Specialist, you will provide assessment and treatment to adolescents in our Healthy Transitions Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients.
  • Develop person-centered recovery plans and provide clinical consultation to case management staff.
  • Participate in crisis response services and provide risk assessment, crisis intervention, and counseling.
  • Act as a client advocate and provide referrals to other agencies as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • Licensed at the independent practice level (LICSW) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical work experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
