Responsibilities:


We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Residential and Commercial Wellness Inspector to evaluate building structures (both residential and commercial) and their surrounding areas for wood-destroying organisms that may compromise the integrity of the building's wooden framework.

The pest management industry is often misunderstood. It is more akin to a maintenance service aimed at preventing recurring pest issues for our clients.

Similar to electricians or HVAC specialists, our primary mission is to ensure the safety and well-being of the clients we serve.

What You'll Do


Conduct thorough inspections of various commercial and residential properties to identify the presence of pests, fungi (such as dry-rot), termites, and other wood-destroying organisms; assess the severity of infestations and the extent of structural damage.


Inspect a range of commercial and residential buildings to detect rodents and potential entry points, evaluating the severity of infestations and the impact on materials, insulation, and access points in relation to the structure.

Estimate and sell insulation projects for both residential and commercial clients. Measure and calculate insulation estimates for removal and installation.

Examine attics and sub-areas when accessible.


Document findings and recommendations in reports using the current version of Clark Pest Control's WDO Code Book (handwriting must be clear and organized).

Compose notes, findings, and recommendations for situations not specifically addressed in the code book.

Create diagrams and charts illustrating the type, extent, and location of infestations.

Engage directly with homeowners, home buyers, and their representatives regarding the work to be performed.

Assess costs, estimate crew time, and schedule work.

Collaborate with crew members to ensure that jobs are completed legally, professionally, and according to specifications.

Handle and account for company funds.

Maintain company-issued equipment and vehicle in a clean condition at all times.

Qualifications:
What You'll Need

High School Diploma or equivalent

Familiarity with construction techniques and terminology

Understanding of wood-destroying organisms and their effects

Valid driver's license required

Ability to obtain the necessary pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company funded)

Ability to secure a Contractor's State License Board Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) license within the first 90 days of employment

Capability to work independently in the field and manage route-based assignments

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the following duties with or without accommodations:

Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity

Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work in various weather conditions

Willing and able to stand, walk, sit, bend, crawl, lift and carry for extended periods (including in crawl spaces, attics, and basements)
