Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost-effective meal plans that meet the standards of NKY Health Department.
  • Assist in preparing weekly menus and provide nutritious meals to residents in the recovery program that meet DOC and VA standards.
  • Work cooperatively with area non-profit agencies and private requests for catering services that are prepared, transported, and served in accordance with NKY Health Department standards.
  • Process SNAP benefits for residents.
  • Monitor food inventory and ensure compliance with NKY Health Department standards.
  • Ensure the physical worksite meets agency goals and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Food Service Certification is a plus; obtaining this certification will be required if not already obtained.
  • Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, as needed for Catering events.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to proactively manage inventory.
  • Great communication skills within a team.
